Happenings...
The Hubby is doing well in his endeavors to become a Master Mason, and will be doing his Fellowcraft lesson in a few weeks. Work is kind of up and down lately. Feast or Famine yanno. I did get to go home early one night last week which was a nice change. We'll just have to see how this weekend goes. Life otherwise has been good for the most part. The Fam is chugging on along with very few bumps in the road lately.
Last weekend was the 4th annual Crop 2 Help out at Springville Camp & Conference Center. There was Glitz and Glamour, Facials, Hand Spas, Fabulous Food, Friends that I've not seen in months, Cool Tees, and Good Times all around! I even got several pages done that I've been carrying pics around for, well, forever to do! Jerri certainly knows how to throw a Retreat! I can't wait till next October and the Crop 2 Help 5th Anniversary Retreat!
Have a Great Weekend All!

Tale of a Tit Willow...
This past weekend was Jerri's 3rd Annual Crop 2 Help Scrapbooking Retreat. I got to spend 48 hours with 23 fellow scrapbookers and it was a Blast! I got to bunk with my buds Jill and Mona, met a few new folks, re-united with some that I've not seen over the past year, got to hug on and hang out with my favorite Jen, watched Mona chase the ducks, went to a great new scrapbook store (The Scrapbook Princess), saw a yard full of frogs, and, yes, I did sing my very own rendition of the Very Old Song "Tit Willow" to everyone the night I pulled it out of Jerri's frame kit. I don't know why, but I seem to generally end up with some odd items in my class kits from Jerri. I definitely don't think it's on purpose... Scary coincidence, maybe. LOL! This time I actually got a Whole Project Done! Hey, that's saying a lot for me! I'm usually lucky to get a couple of pages done much less a whole mini album!
I was a little over zealous with my card classes this time though, so next time I'm definitely going to streamline things a bit. I was able to get 19 folks through the 3 detailed cards with limited supplies though. I'm big on letting everyone do their own stamping. Maybe next time I should do some of it and have it included in the kit when I have a large number of folks and limited supplies. You live and learn yanno.
While I had everything still out of my craft room, I decided to go ahead and finish getting it all straightened up before I piled everything back in there. I'm soo stinkin' proud of me for this! I've finally found a place for everything, and Everything is in it's Place. I can actually SEE THE FLOOR and not just piles of boxes everywhere! YAY!
I've got pictures, but I'll have to post them later since they're still on my camera instead of inside the laptop where they belong. LOL!
Have a Great rest of your week Y'all!

Bad Blogger! Bad Blogger!
Life: One word... BUSY! Long version... Parents doing OK at the moment (AKA not telling me that anything's wrong, but we all know how they can be!), DH has been job swapping (and in the dog house, but is getting to see the outside a little now), I've been hitting it hard at work (It's busy baby season yanno) and I just got a new orientee to show the ropes to, I completely missed my neice's birthday (and she made sure to inform me that I Would be making up for that in a big way! LOL!), Money's tight as usual, I need to go back on my diet (AKA Clothes are getting tight again too), and so, life has been a little more crazy than usual. I tend to want to "hibernate" when things get rough and wrap myself into my comfy coccoon until it all blows over. I know it's bad for me, and to those of you who have been affected by it (and most of my friends and family have been lately) I'm terribly sorry. Good news is that THANKFULLY life is settling down nicely at the moment. Either that, or I'm getting used to it which scares me a little. Ahhhh... Mi Vida Loca... What can I say?
There have been a few happy, creative, make me wanna turn the music up loud and dance moments though. Thank you God for those moments! Without them, I'd be toast! :o) I've gotten to spend some quality time with Jerri while getting ready for the 2nd Annual Crop 2 Help Retreat, Mona has bee waaay supportive and has listened to all my whining, so has Jill and Vikki remembers to ask me how things are going frequently as well...to them I'm forever grateful! You girls Rock! I've gotten to play with some friends I've not seen in a while and made some new friends at the retreat. I've met another online friend and got to spend some time getting to know her face to face, I've enjoyed DumpsterVision while celebrating Mona's birthday, got to take Jill out for dinner on her birthday, had lunch a couple of times with my stampyscrappy friends and so I am blessed! Who would have known that just 3-ish years ago when I decided I wanted to start scrapbooking that I would have had this many True friends?!?! I tell ya, Scrapbookers do make the BEST friends! :o)
Ok.. so here are a few pics from the Crop 2 Help Retreat... If you get the chance, you NEED to come to this one next time! We have the Most Fun! And best of all it's for charity! Head on over to the Blog and see what it's all about! Thank You Jerri for allowing me to be a part of this!!! Once again, YOU ROCK!
