Fun Monday - Movie of Your Life!

This week's edition of Fun Monday is brought to you by Janet at From the Planet of Janet and she says...

So here's what I want to read about: Write the brief synopsis of this film that you might use to pitch this project and cast the principal players. Who would play you? You can either cast or ignore significant others, children and/or pets. This is, after all, YOUR movie about you you YOU! Illustrate as needed with casting photos or filming locations. Your life not interesting enough? Hey, this is Hollywood. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story!

So, I've been pondering this since last night and decided that my story would somewhat resemble The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood with a few twists.

Our story would open with a mid thirty's couple bringing home their new bundle of joy and begin to weave it's way through an awkward childhood and tumultuous relationship between the Mother and Daughter well into her adult years. My part would most likely best be played by someone like Rikki Lake (before the weight loss) or Nikki Blonsky.

With a few phone calls like this thrown in for good measure...

And Ellen Burstyn would definitely be cast as the Mother...

But life wasn't all bad for the girl growing up, yes her mother was dramatic and a handful to deal with, but thankfully she had her down to earth father to balance everything out and to teach her that life isn't always about the drama, and of course, how to fix things. (see Dorkfish post below)

the part of the father of course being played by James Garner.

So, as the girl grew into a woman and found her own way in life, she happens across a phenomenon known as the World Wide Web, the catalyst that brings true love into her life.

Marriage soon follows and the comedy of errors begins a la ...

The two grow together, have their fair share of ups and downs, but come out laughing usually. After many years together, they Finally win the lottery, build their dream home in the mountains, and live out their old age in luxury.

I DO SO LOVE A HAPPY ENDING!

Ok, now go on over and read the Other entries in today's Fun Monday and join us!
